Fitche Public Health Research and Referral Laboratory CPD Center was being established and accredetations in progress from Ethiopian Ministry of Health has as to be one of its in-service training facilities. It was designing and providing need-based in-service training activities for medical laboratory professional cadres in particular while serving as an in-service training Centre. The in-service training Centre strives to increase its capacity to be being chosen Continuing Professional Development centers and the approval process progess is going well and will be finalized soon.
In order to ensure that professionals maintain and grow throughout their careers and maintain their ability to practice safely, effectively, and legally within their evolving scope of practice, the regional laboratory has included range of learning activities (CPD) in the operational plan thus far. By now the regional laboratory has the capacity and skilled personnel to plan, organize, facilitate, monitor and evaluate the training program.
